Let Us Cross - Intalling Side Road Zebra Crossings

LET US CROSS!

Councils in Wales have been given new powers to install side road zebra crossings at junctions – we want these powers in England and Scotland too.

Simple side road zebras are easy to install and give pedestrians clearer priority at side streets; supporting people to walk and wheel more. They also reinforce the Highway Code, which instructs vehicle drivers and riders to give way to pedestrians when turning in and out of sideroads.
Side road zebras have been successfully trialled in Cardiff, London, Manchester and Warwick – and on 11 March the Senedd gave local authorities new powers to roll out side road zebras across Welsh communities.
Show your support today - sign the petition here calling on leaders to bring side road zebras to streets across the whole of the UK. England and Scotland should not be left behind!
